Living Our Values: How Safety Shapes Our Culture at Wineshipping

June is National Safety Month, and at Wineshipping, there is no better time to celebrate one of our most important values.

Safety is more than a policy at Wineshipping—it is a commitment we make every day. It guides how we work, how we support one another, and how we ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of each shift.

We have exciting achievements to celebrate! Last month, all of our Oregon facilities reached an incredible 1,000 days accident-free. Some other great stats:

  • Since the beginning of 2026, our Earth City, Windsor, Cobleskill, Tualatin, and Paso Robles facilities have all been accident free
  • Paso Robles was accident free all of 2025 as well.

These milestones reflect the dedication and commitment of every employee who makes safety a priority. Reaching 100—or even 1,000—days without an accident doesn’t happen by chance. It happens because our teams consistently choose safe practices, look out for one another, and take ownership of workplace safety every day.

This mindset is crucial, as the wine logistics industry presents unique challenges when it comes to safety. From handling heavy cases and fragile glass products to operating powered industrial equipment in fast-paced warehouse environments, safety requires constant attention and care. Every task, no matter how routine it may seem, is an opportunity to make safe choices.

One example of our commitment to injury prevention is our daily morning stretching routine in our warehouse facilities. These stretches help prepare our teams for the physical demands of the day, promote flexibility and mobility, and reinforce the importance of putting safety first before work even begins. It’s a simple but meaningful practice that demonstrates how safety is woven into our daily operations. Plus, they’re a great team activity!

These milestones reflect our ongoing commitment to operational excellence and a culture of safety. Safe facilities help ensure consistent operations, reliable service, and the care your products deserve throughout the fulfillment process.

Happy National Safety Month!
